Trans-oral Laser Microsurgery
Trans-oral laser microsurgery (TLM) involves correcting deformities or performing
precise and  complete removal of benign and malignant tumors of the larynx (voice
box), pharynx (throat) and oral cavity. Tumor removal is performed without disrupting
or sacrificing normal structures. Patients usually do not require a tracheotomy and
experience a rapid return of speech and swallowing with a limited hospitalization.
